7-8 HUMANITIES

Redwood forest. By Sylvana Del Carmen Martinez

Victoria has a wide range of landscapes that change rapidly and diversify across the entire state. The relationship between these ecosystems, the wildlife that live within them and human interactions, is a delicate balance. Even a small local park will facilitate the thriving life of thousands of native species. The environment of Victoria has evolved to enable many animals to live, and in return their existence benefits the environment by maintaining biodiversity.

Take a look at the Wildlife Conflicts Map below
The activity worksheet contains five questions, with some relating to Victorian ecosystems and some which use the Wildlife Conflict map.
